コロナが落ち着いてきましたし、ワクチンの2回目接種が終わって14日以上経過しましたので、1年ちょっとぶりの外食です。
お客さんはそこそこ居ましたが、密というほどではありませんでした。私は一人でしたので、壁際のカウンター席に案内されました。席の間にはビニールカーテンがあり、感染症対策もちゃんとされていますね。客層は老若男女問わないという感じだったかと思います。
「F ネパール伝統的なカレーセット」目当てだったのですが、平日の13時以降しか注文できないとのことでしたので、Eセットでナンをガーリックナンにして注文しました。カレーはマトンカレーと豆ほうれん草カレー。ドリンクはホットチャイにしました。
料理が出たとき、ガーリックナンのニンニクの独特の香りがたまらなかったですね。ナンの上に微塵切りにされたガーリックが散りばめられていました。一口食べると、ニンニクの風味が生きていて、また、体が温まる感じがしました。豆ほうれん草カレー、豆とほうれん草両方入っているカレーはあまり見かけないのですが、ほうれん草のとろみとトロトロになるまで煮込まれた豆の食感が合わさって良い感じでしたね。マトンカレーもマトンがゴロッとしっかり入っていて、カルダモンの味がガツンと効いていて食べ応えがありました。
食後のホットチャイも、シナモン等のスパイスがいい感じに入っていて、砂糖を入れなくても美味しくて、ホッと温まる感じで良かったですね。
今回はいつものインド料理と比較して、少し変則的なメニューでしたが、なかなか良かったと思います。もし、平日に行く機会があれば、今度は是非「ネパール伝統的なカレーセット」を頼んでみたいものです。ご馳走様でした。
