[Newly opened in Totsuka♪] Japanese-style meal Izakaya (Japanese-style bar)
We are an authentic handmade soba restaurant using buckwheat flour. In addition to carefully selected noodles, we also have a full menu that uses vegetables, fish, and more! You can enjoy dishes that |
I went there on a Thursday for lunch. First visit. The interior was not much different from the previous store, and there were still three large monitors. About 80% of the seats were occupied, but basically there were only table seats. Although there were various lunch menus, When I look at soba, I think it's a soba restaurant that doesn't have a lot of variety, but I didn't see anything special about it on the menu, so I thought it was unusual, so I ordered the katsudon set with zaru soba. When I asked the staff, they said that both the soba and katsudon were a little smaller than the individual items. It arrived a little later. The soba was definitely a little smaller, but the katsudon doesn't have much rice, so you can't tell from the look.First, let's start with the soba. Although the cold water has firmed up the texture, it has a very strong texture. It felt more like buckwheat flour's firm texture rather than the springy texture of a binder. It's a matter of likes and dislikes, but I don't think it's necessary to go this far, so I don't think it makes it particularly delicious. The katsudon was a little disappointing. The meat wasn't juicy and had a dry texture, so it was far from what I expected. My wife said it was average, but she ordered curry nanban. As expected, the noodles were soft, but the texture was too strong. It clings to the noodles like bean paste, making you think it's curry soba without soup. Is this what Nanban is like? But the taste is delicious. If there was something that conveyed the atmosphere and flavor characteristics of a soba restaurant more, it might have been more delicious, along with the feeling of eating soba.
