Today is a holiday! Heading to Kamiooka for lunch...that's it. 《Gyoza / Dumpling Sohonten Kamiooka Branch》 A 3-minute walk from Keikyu Kamiooka Station, this restaurant is located in a corner of the restaurant floor on the 6th floor of Myokalist Building. The interior of the restaurant is large and there are many table seats, so everyone from solo diners to families can enjoy a relaxing meal. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable even with children.I was shown to a table and ordered from the lunch menu. Masu! [Set Meal of 5 Garlic Grilled Gyoza / Dumpling] It's pretty good to be able to choose from 3 main dishes: A: Stir-fried meat and vegetables, B: Chinjao loin, and C: Stir-fried pork and wood ear mushrooms with egg. After much deliberation, I chose C (lol). The lineup consisted of grilled Gyoza / Dumpling with garlic on top, the main dish of pork, stir-fried wood ear mushroom with egg, egg soup, zha cai, and rice. When I took a bite...the umami from the carrots, spinach, and other vegetables, the oil from the wok, and the salt and pepper from the Chinese seasoning combined to make the rice go so well.It was so delicious! The rice is of good quality and cooked well and fluffy. The egg soup and zha cai are just...nothing worth mentioning. The grilled garlic Gyoza / Dumpling have a strong garlic aroma and taste.A punchy dish! The inside is juicy and the skin is chewy, but the outside is what you would call a winged Gyoza / Dumpling and has a nice crispy texture.Overall, the food supervised by the executive chef of Yokohama Chinatown Fukumanen was not fancy, but I was satisfied with the taste. As for the service, I was very impressed with the courteous customer service. The inside of the restaurant was spacious and well-maintained, giving it a clean feel.At the time, the price was 1,130 yen (including tax), which was quite a good price. The quality was quite good, and the cost performance was high. Thank you for the meal
