真っ昼間炎天下の駐車場にクルマを停めたくなくて店舗下に駐車場があったココスに入る。実はココスに入るのは２回目。20年以上前に初めて入り、あまりの不味さにそれっきりでした。今回も前述の理由で仕方無くだったのですがやはり…でした。チキンソテーとソーセージ、ハンバーグのランチとドリンクバーを注文。まずドリンクバーとスープバー？へ行く。アイスコーヒーが飲みたかったので説明を見るとグラスに氷を沢山入れてホットコーヒーを注げとある。薄くなるだけでしょ。かつて喫茶店でバイトをしていてアイスコーヒーをどれだけ真剣に作っていたか知ってる身としては問題外。スープも鍋は二つあるものの中身は同じ。スープバーと言うからには三種類くらいは用意しなくちゃ。チキンソテーは下味(塩、コショウ)無し。味がしない。他の客もみんな塩、コショウありませんか？って聞いてる。ソーセージは味無くかなり焦げ臭いしハンバーグは焼けてるのかいないのかビミョー。それとマニュアルなのか食べ終えた食器を客が帰るまで絶対に下げない。邪魔。伝票も丸めて筒に差し込もうとして入らずそのまんま放って行く。20年経っても味、接客ともに改善されていないのに潰れない。不思議。
