大船駅から徒歩5分、
カレーの百名店の
「CURRY CLUB キュイエール」を訪問。
日曜の開店直後に到着のところ台帳4組目。
入店までに40分くらい掛かりました。
【冬季限定】カキと春菊のカレーが終わっていたので
鶏もも肉のバスク風カレー〜揚げ玉子添え 1,150円を
注文。
並んでる時にオーダーを取ってくれたので、
着席後2分くらいで提供されました。
鶏もも肉はソースポットを覆う超デカサイズです。
バスク地方の郷土食とも言える、トマト＋パプリカ＋赤唐辛子で煮込む料理をカレーにアレンジ。
ピリッとした辛さとトマトの酸味が、チキンの旨みを
引き立てていて美味しいです。
チキンはほろほろに煮込まれてカレーに馴染んで
ご飯が進みます。
半分くらい食べたところでポーチドエッグを割って
味編。反則技でとても美味くなります。
最後まで美味しく頂きました。
目当てのカキと春菊のカレーがなくても
鶏もも肉のバスク風カレーはとても楽しめました。
