I visited on a weekday night. The location is on the 2nd floor of Ekimae Street, East Exit of Ofuna Station. There used to be Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) called Yahei. As I was walking to have dinner, I saw this new signboard saying that the restaurant is currently opening in Japan on April 1st (the opening date on the top page is March 23rd). I will enter the store. A female staff member greeted me and went to the counter. Smoking is not allowed on the 2nd floor, and smoking is allowed on the 3rd floor. There was no counter before. This staff member was very bright and had a pleasant customer service. Although it is called pre-opening, it is probably pre-opening in the sense of getting used to it. The menu seems to be almost the full lineup. Looking at the menu, you'll notice that they have Kamakura's first faucet shochu. When I asked the staff, they told me that they are collaborating with a shochu maker, and you can drink as much as you want for 60 minutes from the faucet installed at your table. When I asked him if he did business in warimono, he smiled and said yes. But Hoppy's price is 150 yen. With this, I thought I could order a bottle of Hoppy and drink it at the strength I wanted. So, the order is as follows. The receipt is tax-excluded, so the notation is tax-excluded. 60 minutes of all-you-can-drink faucet shochu for 400 yen (excluding tax). Hoppy black 150 yen. Ice is free, but we decided to go without it. Served with vinegared offal for 480 yen. I guess the vinegar was too light. Teppanyaki Gyoza / Dumpling (1 piece) 90 yen x 3 pieces. There is a menu where you can order from just one item, which is quite nice. These Gyoza / Dumpling weren't that tough either. Guruguru skin skewer 120 yen x 2 pieces. This is relatively soft and I like it. Fried Hakata Karaage (1 piece) 99 yen x 1 piece. It was delicious as usual. Boiled taro 420 yen. This restaurant has a unique menu, but it was the most delicious. Maybe it has something to do with my age. Well, faucet shochu is a good idea, but it seems quite dangerous. It's fun to pour it yourself, and you're sure to drink too much. This may be unnecessary, but I wonder if Kamakura's first impressions will resonate with the residents and workers of Ofuna? If you go another 100m, you will reach Yokohama city. Moreover, Ofuna is an independent town. It's a fun and creative shop.
