On this day, we had lunch at Ofuna. I came to this Hawaiian cafe. The location is on the 1st floor of Kamakura Art Museum, a 10-minute walk from the east exit of JR Ofuna Station. Since December 2016, Restaurants space, which had been dormant for a long time, has been renovated into a cafe where you can enjoy the feel of a tropical resort. This cafe is managed by CAC Cruises Co., Ltd., headquartered in Shiba Daimon, Minato-ku, Tokyo. With Hawaiian menu items such as loco moco, garlic shrimp, and Hawaiian Pancakes, and a carefully designed interior, this Hawaiian cafe lets you feel like you're in Hawaii while in Japan. They also sell freshly baked bread, so there's a banner for that as well. There is also terrace seating available at the store. When you open the door and step inside, you will see a bread display shelf in front of you. Basically, we sell takeaway, but you can also eat in during morning hours (9:00-11:00).・We also have a great value morning set (500 yen) that includes 1 piece of bread of your choice + drink, a service menu only available in the morning. They also have bread for 450 yen, so it's only 50 yen and comes with a drink, which is a great deal (* ̄∇ ̄*)b Well, I was there for lunch, so I entered and was shown to a table on the right. We will sit at a table for two. I get the menu and look at it for a while. Hawaiian plates such as loco moco, curry, Hamburger, Meat Dishes, Sandwiches, salads, side dishes, Pancakes, pannekuken, chiffon cakes, etc. Hmm. I've been looking at it for a while, but I can't seem to find a decisive factor. So, I decided to order HILO'S Taco Rice for 1300 yen. It's also the top dish on the Hawaiian plate, and I love it too, so I won't miss it. The floor is operated by four women wearing aloha shirts. There was only one person wearing a blue aloha shirt, but I think it was probably the store manager. I was greeted by someone who seemed to be an acquaintance at the store's opening. I can't see the kitchen, but I'm sure there are several people there. The inside of the store doesn't seem to have a strong Hawaiian vibe, but has a nice stylish cafe atmosphere. There are approximately 40 seats in the store alone, so we are proud of the capacity. The background music is of course Hawaiian. The base is something that flows slowly. Wait for it to be done while drinking cold lemon water. It was served in about 8 minutes.・HILO'S Taco Rice Served on a large white plate. In the center, there is about 250g of rice. It's a solid and delicious rice. It's topped with a fried egg, taco meat, salsa sauce, cheese, Trevis, and lettuce, with fries on the side. The fries were freshly fried and didn't feel oily. It feels kind of dry. At least I didn't feel any signs of being soaked in oil. The taste was delicious, but I didn't feel like it was freshly fried. The salsa sauce has jalapenos in it, which adds to the spiciness. Be careful if you can't eat curry with a medium or higher spicy level. For those who don't like medium spicy Java curry. I just want hot sauce (^^; 1/3 of the fried egg was half-cooked and 2/3 was hard-cooked. I wanted to sprinkle the half-cooked part on taco meat etc. to create a sense of unity. But that's a shame. It didn't look like much at first glance, but surprisingly there was a lot of rice, so it was manageable. That's 1,300 yen. Payment is made via touchless PayPay. From December 2016 onwards , a stylish Hawaiian cafe had opened on the same floor that had been a vacant tenant, so I had high hopes for it, but it didn't have much originality and was just a cafe with regular Hawaiian plates. When it comes to Hawaiian cafes, there are chain stores such as Kona's Coffee and La Ohana, but I find them more appealing as they have a wider variety of menus.Next to the Kamakura Art Center is the Shochiku Ofuna Shopping Center Restaurants District. , Ito-Yokado Food Court, etc., so we need to differentiate ourselves from them.Currently, we have the ability to take out our takeaway, which is a differentiating element, but the quality of the bread itself may not be a differentiator.Co., Ltd. I guess this is where Sea Cruises' management skills will be tested (* ̄∇ ̄*)b Thank you for the meal! (As of September 2023, there are no points)
