評判を聞き、家族で週末の夕食に」伺った。江ノ電、長谷駅から徒歩ですぐ。お店は道路ぞいでわかりやすい。子供連れだったので、緊張したが全くの杞憂だった。店内はとても綺麗でそれこそ赤坂あたりにありそうな感じ？だが、板さん（ご主人）とフロアの奥様？がお若くてとてもきさくで感じが良く、敷居の高い感じがしない。そして江戸前のお寿司はとても美しい。しゃりの握り加減とネタとのバランスも絶妙だ。ひとつひとつの細工が完成されていて、わさび醤油をつけて食べるタイプではなく、そのまま食べるお寿司だ。 塩がのっていたり、にきりが塗ってあったり。 こうやって召し上がってくださいと指示がでる。どれも美味しい。メニューはおまかせのみ。ひととおり食べてから、美味しかったものをリピできる。美味しい江戸前のお寿司を食べたいときは是非こちらへとお勧めする。 ただ、一概に江戸前はどこもお高くないか？厳選されたネタ、それだけの手はかかっているから高級品なのだろうとは思う。お寿司を食べに行くのにお金を気にしていたら美味しくないから、この日も覚悟はして行った。ただ家族5人で10万円以上かかるとはちょっとすし屋に行く？という感じにはいかない。接待で行くか、セレブ用か、記念日か。地元の長谷近くの知り合いにも話をしたら「あちらは高くないですか？」と言っていた。行ったことはないらしい。こういった妥協せず、極めているお店が存在しないととは思う。鎌倉で自慢できるお店だ。でも、二度はいかないかな。私が寿司に求める粋な感じがあまりしないし、ネタを見ながら地物やこちらの好みのものを握ってもらいながら食べるのが好きだから。
