以前から伺いたかった鰻屋。
由比ヶ浜の車の通りが多い道沿いにある。
外観は目立たず小さい感じ、でも中に入るとまるで京都の家みたいに広かった。
文豪・川端康成、女優・田中絹代、そして私の大好きな音楽評論家・小林秀雄、など、名だたる著名人がここの暖簾をくぐったそう。
では私の座った席に、私が頂いたお重を、小林秀雄さまが、、、…(！)
予約して行ったけれど、鰻が出てくるまでかなり待った。
駐車場も運悪く空いておらず、近隣のコインパーキングへ。
出てきた鰻はタレも上品で、さすが老舗の貫禄を感じる。
鰻の香ばしさがとても好み。
最後まで全く飽きずに頂いた。
お隣さんは、柳川鍋を2人で１つ、オーダーしていた。
来た時の驚きの大きさ！
いやー、あれも美味しそうだったわぁ…。
