First visit Review of a restaurant in mid-September... On this day, we participated in an event together as a couple. We had the opportunity to explore Kamakura. We took a tour of some famous places and had a Medicinal Food lunch here for lunch. I knew about this restaurant, but I rarely had the chance to visit, and I don't think I would have visited it if it wasn't for this opportunity. The exterior of the building is very tasteful and historic, and the garden atmosphere is also very nice. When you enter the restaurant, you can feel the beauty of the wooden building. The second floor seems to be the seating area, so you go up the stairs and are shown to a room in the back. It was a corner room, but the view was great, overlooking the cityscape of Kamakura and the sea from the window. The lighting and furnishings were also atmospheric. We received a greeting from the head chef, and the hospitality of the female staff who served us was relaxed, but elegant. The course consisted of six dishes, from appetizers to Seafood main dish, side dish, meat main dish, main dish, soup, and Dim sum. Since it was Medicinal Food, I thought the dishes would be mildly seasoned, but that wasn't the case. There were many dishes with a strong umami of sauce and dashi stock, especially the special rice dumplings with jujube at the end and the superior soup made with Jinhua ham and dried scallops, which were particularly delicious. My husband and I were both very pleased that we had been able to enjoy such wonderful Medicinal Food. We also had a fun time walking around Kamakura, and it was a very good experience. 90th person 3.59/3.54※
