11時であれば予約可能とのことで前日17時に電話し、以前から気になっていたオクシモロンさんに来店。
鎌倉駅から小町通りを通って7分の距離なのだが小町通りの人の混雑でなかなか前に進めず、12分ほどかかった。
着くとすでに5組ほど予約客が待っていた。
日曜だが、予約なしもそれほど並んでおらず、カウンターであればそのまま座れる様子だった。
店員さんに聞いた人気は、和風キーマと、エスニックそぼろ。パクチーなど嫌いでなければエスニック、和風キーマは温泉卵とねぎのマイルドなカレーです、とのこと。
同行者は、エスニックそぼろ辛口、私は和風キーマの中辛を注文。1430円。
和風キーマは、お肉のごろごろ感は少ないが、素人には作れないスパイスカレー。いりごまとねぎにより、たしかに和風でもある。中辛なので、食べているうちに少し辛いなという程度。ちょうどよかった。
同行者のエスニックは、パクチーやシソなどと混ぜながら食べるのだが、ここでしか食べられないオリジナリティのあるカレーで個人的にはこちらの方が好きだった。(和風キーマは少し物足りない)
添えられていた胡桃のキャラメルコーティングされているお菓子がとても美味しかった。巾着付きで540円で販売されていたのを買うか悩んだほどだ。
店内はおしゃれで、ゆったりと過ごせる。
