鎌倉駅東口からの若宮大路交差点角地にあるこちらのお店。駅からも近いので行きやすいです。
1階は普通に感じるテーブル席ですが、本日はお客さんが多かったらしく2階へ案内されました。2階は板の間テーブル席と一段上がって掛け軸が飾られた座敷に椅子・テーブル席。気品ある感じです。私は座敷の間に案内されました。
メニューには鱧、鯵、海老フライもあり興味もありましたが本日はとんかつにします。とんかつは総州三元豚「白王」、那須高原豚、カナダ産特選三元豚。カナダ産は普段よくお世話になっているので、今回はブランド豚にしました。白王も興味ありますが那須高原のリブロース、240ｇは多くて食べられなさそうなので180ｇにしました。
とんかつを食す前に、提供された器内の胡麻をすりすり、備え付けのソースを器に入れて準備します。那須高原豚は臭みも無く脂身も美味しく、比較的厚切りなのに柔らかでした。胡麻とスパイシーなソースで風味良く食べられました。
ごはんの炊き加減は自分好みで甘み粘り気もあって美味しかったです。シジミの赤出汁・・・先日のお店も赤出汁でしたが、普段は食することがないのでお店に来た感があり良いですね。
キャベツ用のソースはブラッドオレンジソースと生姜・茗荷を使用した和風ソースの2種類でどちらもノンオイル、身体に良さそうです。ブラッドオレンジソースは爽やかでフルーティー、和風ソースはスパイシーでどちらも美味しくて良いです。
ごはんとキャベツはお代わり自由でありがたい。肉の量を控え目にしたつもりですがごはんとキャベツをお代わりしたので結局お腹一杯です。
鎌倉でとんかつを何店舗か食べましたが満足感は1番良いかもしれません。
