Today we will be walking in Kamakura and Shonan. I came to this Kumamoto horse sashimi and Junmai sake restaurant. The location is on the 1st floor of a multi-tenant building about 3 minutes walk from the south exit of JR Fujisawa Station. The Ramen shop in the foreground is conspicuous, but you have to go inside the building to get to this shop. It's on the left as soon as you enter, and it looks deserted, as if it were a tenant in the building. This is a restaurant that opened on November 1, 2016, where you can enjoy fresh horse sashimi delivered directly from Kumamoto Aso Fuji Farm and a wide variety of Junmai sake. I'm also a regular at the Fujisawa Choinomi Festival, so I could have used it there, but this time I decided to try it as takeaway. When I went there, it was supposed to be open already, but the sign was still saying "under preparation." However, it was actually operating properly. As soon as I opened the door and entered the store, I was asked to use a disinfectant spray, so I disinfected my hands first. Then tell them you want takeaway. Since it was the same as takeaway menu posted at the store, I decided to order the Aso 3-type platter for 900 yen. By the way, PayPay could not be used on this day. The store is run by one man. He was an elderly person, so he may have been the manager. Everything is said to be from Akita, so we also have a variety of local sake associated with Akita. There are 6 seats at the L-shaped counter at the front of the store. There is a table for 4 people on the right. There seem to be semi-private and fully private rooms in the back on the right. BGM is not playing. There's no need to call because there's no one around. It was completed in just over 2 minutes. The frozen horsemeat was securely packaged in a pouch, and a separate container of tamari soy sauce for horse sashimi was also included. I'll eat it right away for dinner.・Aso 3 types Assortment of futaego, red meat, and koune. 3 slices each. takeaway menu had medium-fatty fatty meat, red meat, and koune, but there was a note saying that the menu may change depending on stock availability. The tamari soy sauce for horse sashimi is sweet, typical of Kyushu soy sauce, so I was thinking of using the regular organic whole soybean soy sauce I have at home, but when I tried using it, it tasted like this sweet dashi soy sauce for horse meat. It went well with this dish, so I continued eating it with the horse sashimi tamari soy sauce. Futaego has three layers of meat on the ribs and is quite chewy. It was different from the tenderness of beef or pork belly. Just the right amount of lean meat and fat flavor. Red meat is the most common part of horse meat. It's light and tastes just like the image. The koune is said to be a rare part directly below the mane. It is rich in collagen and is said to be very good for beauty, but it has a chewy texture and a relaxing aftertaste. I was able to enjoy the three types of horsemeat, each with its own characteristics (^^) Horsemeat from Kumamoto is thoroughly frozen at -20 degrees before being shipped, so any bacteria or other particles are killed. It seems that you can eat it with peace of mind. Freezing technology has improved, so if you can thaw it properly, you can enjoy the same quality as takeaway meat, but that's the problem with taking out horse meat (^^;) It would be best to eat it! Thank you for the meal! (3.06 points as of July 2020)
