平日金曜日の15時半に訪問。
小田急線六会日大前駅から徒歩3分ほどの所にあります。
店名の くっくう は、お店に置いてあった鳩時計の鳴き声からとったそう。
こちらが開業したのは43年ぐらい前で、現在は2代目店主が継いでおられます。
数人入れば満員状態になるような小さなパン屋さんですが、その割にはたくさんの種類のパンが所狭しと置かれています。
開店当時にあったUFO(焼きそばではありません)というパンがお気に入りでしたが、今はもう無いようです。
私は、チーズハース1/2 ￥378 と チーズパリパリ ￥194 を購入。
チーズハースは、3種のチーズをフランスパン生地で巻いて焼き上げたもの。
焼の過程でチーズが溶けて穴が開いているものも多いのですが、今まで色々な所で買った同種のパンの中で一番チーズがしっかり残っていました。
なので、しっかりチーズの味と食感がありました。
チーズパリパリは、フランスパン生地を薄く延ばして、チーズを散らしてパリパリに焼き上げたもの。
名前の通りのパリパリ食感と香ばしさにチーズの味が加わって、スナック菓子のように食べられます。
ビールのつまみなんかにも良さそうです。
