I went to Marugame Seimen. Marugame is open from 10:30am on weekends, which is very convenient. You don't have to wait in the morning, so you can take your time. I ordered the Kamatama Udon (500 yen) and Pumpkin Tempura (140 yen). When I go to Marugame, I always choose the Kamatama Udon. I love the chewy noodles. Actually, I used to work at Marugame Seimen 10 years ago. I was making udon noodles at Marugame. The noodles are mixed with wheat flour, water, and natural salt, and then kneaded many times using a machine. It takes a lot of physical strength. Then, they are left to sit in the refrigerator for a day before being used the next day. That's why everyone is eating noodles made the day before (laughs). The vegetables are also brought in on the day, and are all handmade. So it's fresh and very delicious. So it's even more delicious if you go in the morning. It's really helpful to have Gusto and Marugame Seimen near my house. I'll continue to use them. Thank you for the meal.
