茅ヶ崎駅北口のエメロード商店街から線路側に入った路地にある居酒屋で夕食を食べに行きました。
このお店はマンションのモデルルームを見学に来た際に、外観から良さそうだと目を付けていたお店です。
店内は想像していたよりもずっと広くて驚きました。
だだっ広い厨房を中心にして、カウンター席、テーブル席に小上がりの広い座敷もあって、大家族か親戚で法事の後の食事会のような雰囲気で賑やかです。
店名から北海道の郷土料理主体の店かと思っていましたが、それらしい料理は「男爵芋の鮭コロッケ」くらいで、特にこだわりは無さそうです。
刺身盛り合わせ、おまかせ串焼き５本セット、岩手産牡蠣フライ、男爵芋の鮭コロッケを注文。
刺身盛り合わせは、蛸、鰯、カンパチ、鮪赤身。一通り一切れづつ摘んでみたが、驚くほど鮮度が悪くて食べられたものじゃない。
茅ヶ崎で、こんな酷い刺身を食べさせらるとは思いもしませんでした。
牡蠣フライは大粒でふっくらしていて美味しくて、揚げ方もまずまずでした。
鮭コロッケは、男爵芋のマッシュに鮭のほぐし身を混ぜて揚げてあります。
ホクホクした男爵芋がふわふわで美味しかった。
一方、串焼き盛り合わせは焼き過ぎて焦げ目が目立ち、カチカチになっててダメでした。
お店のキャパがあって、厨房も広いのに勿体無いお店でした。
