茅ヶ崎駅南口から海に向かう雄三通りに入ってすぐの路地を高砂通りに向かって右手に入る小道に入ると、お尻を向けて振り返っているかわいい子ブタのイラストの描かれた看板のラーメン店が目に留まりました。
この子ブタの名前がBUBUちゃんなのかな？
店内は細長いコの字カウンター席のみ10席くらいですが、落ち着いた感じで湘南っぽい雰囲気です。
ラーメンメニューは、スープのベースは全て豚骨ですがバラエティーに富んでいて、まろやかな味の白BUBU、焦がしニンニクのマー油が入っている黒BUBU、ピリ辛の赤BUBU、味噌ラーメンやつけ麺、他に限定ラーメンがありました。
券売機で黒BUBUの食券を買うとカウンター席の中央の席に案内されて、待つ事僅か2分で着丼です。
大きな白と黒の丼に、黒いマー油が浮かび、チャーシュー、メンマと刻みネギがトッピング。
マー油は、にんにくや香味野菜をラードで揚げて作った香味油で、スープの臭みを消してコクと風味を増す効果があるので、香りを嗅いだだけで食欲が盛り上がります。
ストレートの細麺が、このスープと絡んで喉越しが良い。
これは期待を上回る美味しいラーメンでした。
茅ヶ崎のラーメンランキングでは、それほど高くないのですが自分としては1番好みだったので、他のメニューも食べ比べてみたいラーメンでした。
