長年この地でスペイン料理店を営んできた。小さいながらも地域に密着した。家庭的な店として親しまれてきた。しかしある日、突然目の前に。東京の超有名店が進出してきた。ビル5階建て、100坪の丸ごとスペインの巨大な世界。
JR茅ヶ崎駅北口からすぐのヨーカ堂。そのすぐ南側の小路に現れた。南欧風のシャレたビル。なんとあのスペインクラブ。佃島の店には何度かお邪魔したが。そのスケールの大きさと。熱気あふれるライブステージで。つねに盛況だった。
すると心配なのが当店。大変失礼ながら。巨象の前のなんとかで。しかし、その後は当店の評判は変わらない。むしろそれがバネになって。頑張っていると思える。それに違いが鮮明だ。大きな店はスペインの館をイメージするが。
こちらはぐっと庶民的。スペインのカジュアルなバールのイメージ。カップルや友人たちとの気軽な会食。マダムたちのランチさえも。決して豪華なインテリアではなくて。なにか手作り感、スペイン旅行からのお土産品。そういう親しみもてる雰囲気。
料理はそれなりに多彩。店のおすすめは下記など。もちろんパエージャ、ピンチョス、タパス、アヒージョなどの定番も。今回は知人と３名で、ワイン持込みで。やはりスペイン料理は家庭的な雰囲気が良い。お向かいの、巨象は私には難しい。
多彩な料理をお手頃価格で味わえる。貴重な街場スパニッシュ。頑張れ！
