I want to eat Cow tongue. What a luxurious request. There are recommended set meals at the store, and the bowl version is called Sendai-style imoni. I sat down thinking I'd like Cow tongue to go with the imoni, and when I looked at the menu, I was told it would be pork soup with tepura. . . disappointing. The daily Onigiri are traditional but big and delicious, and Cow tongue is soft and satisfying. The salad had tan salami and so on, so I was satisfied with the variety of things I could eat! You should make imoni (I don't know about the Sendai style) at home! Cow tongue is a delicious, non-spicy curry with the ingredients melting into the soft tongue (which has a somewhat industrial feel) and mushrooms (which look like canned food). The amount of green onions in the tail soup made me smile. Thank you for the meal!
