Southern Beach Curry & Cafe WAVE is a cafe located in Nakakaigan, Chigasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The nearest station is Chigasaki Station on the JR Tokaido Main Line and JR Sagami Line. This day was Southern All Stars' Chigasaki live performance. I am a member of the fan club, and when I applied for arena seats on the last day of the concert, I was lucky to win (I never thought I would win). I ate near Chigasaki Station, went to Southern Beach, and took a walk. It was a very hot day, and we had some time before the concert started, so we looked for a place to sit, specifically a place where we could have tea. I looked everywhere, but everywhere was full. I found only one vacant terrace seat at Southern Beach Curry & Cafe WAVE. The terrace seats at "Southern Beach Curry & Cafe WAVE" had large awnings, but it was really hot that day. I sat down at an empty terrace seat and chose hot cafe au lait from the menu. I wanted to drink something cold, but my acupuncturist had warned me not to drink too much as drinking too much cold food would make me sick, so I opted for a hot drink instead. The taste of the hot cafe au lait was average, but I was glad I was able to sit down. I thought about ordering some fries and grabbing some snacks (I was told that if I only had a drink, I would be seated for an hour, so if I ordered food I could stay for up to two hours), but I ended up sitting there for an hour. I felt much better physically, and the person I was going with wanted to get to the concert venue early, so I just drank a hot cafe au lait and left the restaurant. Once you're over 50, you can't force yourself like you used to. Previously, about 10 years ago? I'm older now than I was when I came to Southern's concert. Even though I'm seated in chairs this time instead of the narrow seats in the grand like before, I'm still pretty tired. So it was nice to be able to sit down and relax before the concert. It was very helpful to be able to sit comfortably before the live performance rather than savoring the taste of cafe au lait. I'm glad I was able to spend a precious hour relaxing before the live performance. That was a really big help. I would like to say thank you to Southern Beach Curry & Cafe WAVE, rather than thank you for the meal. I left Southern Beach Curry & Cafe WAVE and headed to Chigasaki Stadium, the live venue.
