Grilled skewer Fried Skewers, deep-Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), standard izakaya snacks, and about 130 types of drinks!
Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) with a relaxed atmosphere. * Grilled skewer and deep-Fried Skewers. A classic Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) snack! We have about 130 types of drinks! Please take your time |
I visited on a weekday evening. The restaurant is located at the north exit of the east ticket gate of Hiratsuka Station. Go north from the left sidewalk on the bus road (Festa Road) in front of the rotary. Turn left at the second intersection with a traffic light, and after the first intersection, turn right. It's nice that the menu is posted in front of the store. You can get an overall idea of the place from the prices of beer and Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). We enter the store. It's moody, but quite dark. The lighting is incandescent-colored, with a hanging light fixture with a cover. We tell the staff how many people we have and sit at a table for four. I thought it was Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) and Fried Skewers restaurant with a counter, but I was wrong. It has an atmosphere that could be used for Christmas dinner. We look at the menu book on the table. There are four pages of drinks. There is a full lineup of major alcoholic drinks, including cocktails. The food menu that follows is also amazing. Sake snacks, Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), Fried Skewers, a la carte dishes, Asian-style dishes, etc. I think it was about 6 to 8 pages long. From that, I ordered a bottle of beer (Kirin) for 680 yen. The first sake came out. The appetizer was potato salad for 360 yen. It was served warm. After looking at the menu for a while, I decided on grilled dishes, including Shingen chicken thighs and negi-ma. Atsugi pork shiro and kashira. All 150 yen. You can choose from salt, sauce, and miso as the seasoning. I decided on the miso, as it was rare. Then, gizzards with negi and chili pepper for 550 yen. It took more than 10 minutes, and I started with the Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). The whole thing was covered in miso. It was probably a miso sauce diluted with sake. The chicken had a firm texture. It wasn't particularly distinctive. For drinks, I ordered 300ml of Shirasasa Tsuzumi Kobozan from Kanai Sake Brewery in Hadano City for 950 yen. Thank you for the meal. There was soft background music playing inside the restaurant. It seems to be an arrangement, but I can't hear it. The only thing I could make out was Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty Waltz. It might be perfect for Christmas. I don't know, but it's a shop with a good sense of style. I have the impression that it would be fun to go there often.
