Today's lunch Okonomiyaki one person. I entered an Okonomiyaki chain restaurant with a large parking lot facing a local highway. I didn't know until now that the Okonomiyaki chain Dotonbori originated in Fussa City, Tokyo, and is the largest Okonomiyaki chain in Japan. I thought it was Kansai based because of the name Dotonbori. So Okonomiyaki is Kanto style, where you cook it yourself. The parking lot is empty at noon on weekdays. When you enter the store, you take off your shoes and put them in the shoe rack. At first I was asked if I wanted to smoke or non-smoking, and then I was asked if I wanted a table or a tatami room, and I said table, but in hindsight, I may have made a mistake in choosing the table. Immediately after going up the entrance, I was guided to an isolated private room-style seat with two four-seater tables. The lunch menu includes Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) yakiniku, but since this is an Okonomiyaki restaurant, I ordered a lunch set of mixed balls, salad, miso soup, and dessert, along with draft beer. If you order a drink bar, it costs an additional 120 yen. It's been a while since I made Okonomiyaki myself, but it turned out surprisingly well and tasted delicious. At the end, I drank the miso soup and was pleasantly surprised. This is just my personal impression, but it tasted like powdered instant miso soup. I waited about 15 minutes for dessert after I finished eating, but there was no sign of it coming out, so I paid for it. At that time, I was asked if I wanted dessert, but if I knew that, why didn't I serve it? If it's a system that won't bring anything unless I tell you, I'd like an explanation in advance. Also, when I first arrived at the table, there was no water. It may have been a selfie, but there was no explanation. There are no instructions on how to cook Okonomiyaki. Everything was not explained well and I didn't feel the staff was attentive.
