There's no appetizer! |
An'an is located on Nakamise Street, the downtown area near the east exit of Kawasaki Station. The store is on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and there are quite a few seats. The inside of the restaurant is similar to other An'an restaurants, with each table separated by a simple board and made into box seats. It seems that the menu has been renewed, and the large platter of meat is no longer available. Also, the highball drink cost 190 yen + tax. What I received was: - Aged Beef Steak (390 yen + tax) Although the name is impressive, I ordered it because it tasted similar to the pre-renovation grilled beefsteak. It doesn't look much different, but the taste seems to have gone down. Safety research is difficult. ■An'an Kalbi (290 yen + tax) There may be an element of sauce involved, but the taste is still incredible for this price. The moderate taste and low price are An'an's strengths. ■Aged ribs (490 yen + tax) I can't tell how mature the ribs are, but the meat quality has improved commensurate with the price compared to An'an. The fat in An'an Kalbi is quite fatty, but aged Kalbi has just the right amount of fat and is of high quality. ■Beef bone ribs (290 yen → 270 yen + tax) This was a limited price reduction due to the menu renewal. In terms of meat quality, aged short ribs are more delicious, but this one is superior in terms of the flavor around the bones. It's irresistible for people who like this part, and it's obviously cheap for this amount and bone-in dish. ■ Cow tongue salt (490 yen + tax) Unlike the one I had at the Kashimada store, this is a shaped Cow tongue. It's not bad since it's fairly thick, but it gave me the impression that it was worth the price. ■An'an Hormone (290 yen → 270 yen + tax) This was a limited price reduction due to menu renewal. It was my first time eating offal food after coming to An'an, but I wish the offal had a bit of a smell and was dressed with miso sauce. There is also miso sauce at the table, so it's delicious to mix it with this before grilling. There is also gochujang, so if you like spicy food, you may want to use this as well. ■Petit Monko Squid (290 yen + tax) As a non-meat grilled dish, it can be said that it boasts the best taste and cost performance. This small squid has a strong flavor and is often used as an appetizer in Chinese Cantonese cuisine. Since it is baked and condensed and then mixed with mentaiko mayo, it is sure to have a strong flavor that rivals meat. ■ Oyster grilled with butter (490 yen → 390 yen → 290 yen + tax) Since the season is coming to an end, the final price was reduced. Two cooked Oyster are placed on an aluminum plate with wakame seaweed and covered with butter sauce. I eat it with ponzu sauce, but since Oyster have already been boiled, the flavor is bland and the butter sauce has a slightly artificial taste. Even at the reduced price, it may be expensive compared to other menu items. I wouldn't order it if it was the regular price. ●Asahi Super Dry Medium Raw (290 yen + tax) When it comes to cheap, it's Super Dry. Overall it's cheap so don't complain about the beer brand either. The fact that it's a beer at this price is its strength. ●Highball (190 yen + tax) This highball will be the highlight of the menu renewal. I should have gotten through with just one draft beer, but now I have the next option. Meat has a lot of purines, so a highball without purines is necessary for Yakiniku (Grilled meat). The stable price of An'an Kalbi and draft beer is a big strength. There are some things that have gotten better and some things that have gotten worse with the renewal of the menu, but these two things are absolutely true. In addition, I would like to recommend Petit Monko Squid as a side dish for grilled dishes. Although the assorted menu is no longer available, An'an's strength of being able to eat Yakiniku (Grilled meat) at a cheap price is still there.
