On this weekday day, I had lunch with a friend before 3pm. The plan is to have a quick drink and head home before the evening rush hour begins. Search for reasonably priced restaurants near Kawasaki Station where you can drink early. I visited this Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) on the 8th floor of Okadaya Mores. It is part of the Showa retro-style public Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) series, a local chain operated by Yokohama City's Wakatake Co., Ltd. in several locations in the prefecture. - Open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. -Standing bar instead of standing. No table charge - All-you-can-eat offal stew for 480 yen (self-serve) - Fried chicken wings for 28 yen each - Sours from 191 yen, Kaku Highballs from 319 yen - The two-hour schedule is perfect for planning this day. Perfect. I entered the store just before 3pm, and there were quite a few customers in the 100-seat store, even though it was a weekday. It seems like there are a lot of people who look like office workers. We were seated at a table near the kitchen with many lanterns hanging from above. I mainly drank Kaku Highball. The things we ate were: - Two bowls of giblet stew per person - 10 fried chicken wings - Hot pot steamed white clam bath - Fried horse mackerel - Potato salad - Acorns (seasoned quail eggs), etc. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from the all-you-can-eat self-service offal stew, but it was surprisingly delicious. In extreme terms, it seems like you might have the option of drinking just this knob for two hours. The white clams and other knobs are also decent. It's a bit strange that yakitori and sashimi aren't on the menu, but it's not a big deal. Even though I thought I had eaten and drank a lot, the bill was 3500 yen per person. When I left the store at 5pm, I saw a sign saying that the store was fully booked and I had to wait in front of the store until 7:50pm, but with this value for money, it's no wonder it's so popular.
