京急川崎駅から徒歩数分にあるイタリアン「acero」さんに伺いました。
事前に予約した土曜午後1時よりも少し前に到着してしまいましたが、スムーズに案内していただけました。
予約したのは2,000円のランチコース。
前菜とサラダ、メイン、パン、デザートにドリンクというミニコース。
通常のランチ（1,500円）でもサラダ、パン、ドリンクは付くのですが、ドリンクはソフトドリンクだけ。
ミニコースだとアルコールも選べます。
デザートも付くしね。
ということで、ドリンクはビール。
メインはナポリタンにしました。
えっ、カジュアルとはいえイタリアン店でナポリタン？
なのですが、どこにでもあるナポリタンをイタリアン店がどうアレンジするのかに興味が湧きました。
まず、ビールと前菜・サラダ・パンが来ました。
このサラダがボリュームあること！
前菜と合盛りになっていて、どれが前菜なのか判然としませんが、レバーパテはわかりました。
マスタードがたっぷりと載ってます。
そのお隣はカポナータかな？
中央のオレンジ色はにんじんを薄く長くスライスしたもの。
サラダを食べ終えたタイミングで、ナポリタンも来ました。
こんもりと盛り付けられたパスタは、太めのスパゲティ。
やはりナポリタンにはこれくらいの太さが似合います。
アルデンテではなく、中心までもっちりとした食感。
そこに濃厚なトマトソース。
酸味が心地よく、そして深い旨味も感じます。
具としてピーマンと玉ねぎ。
そして小エビにウィンナー。
タコさんウィンナーになっているところにシェフの遊び心を感じますね。
小エビも決しておざなりではなく、ちゃんとエビとしての旨さがあるのには感心しました。
残ったソースをパンでぬぐって最後まで味わいました。
サラダのボリュームがあったし、パスタを大盛りでお願いしなくて正解でした。
デザートはナッツ入りのアイスクリーム。
ほんのりとした甘さが食事の締めとしてありがたい。
イタリアンのシェフが、きっとお好きなんでしょう、そのテクニックを駆使して作ったナポリタン、美味しくいただきました。
お店は周囲の雑然とした雰囲気から隔絶されたおしゃれさ。
上品ながらどことなく親しみやすいセンスが感じられます。
ホール係の男性も感じのいい接客でした。
ちなみに店名の「acero」は、イタリア語でカエデ。
店頭にも大きな鉢植えのカエデがありました。
