きっかけ
夢見ヶ崎動物公園から駅までが遠く、途中で休憩がてら昼食を食べることにしました。
品目
・柔らか青豆の温サラダ：200円
「グリーンピース」というと、ちょっと苦手ではあります。
柔らかく煮こまれたおかげで独特の食感がなくなり、素材の甘さも出ていて食べやすかったです。
温玉のおかげもあるのでしょう。
・チーズのポモドーロ：500円
パスタはモチモチした食感でした。
チーズにはコシがあり、家のパスタとは違うレベルの高さを感じました。
・エスカルゴのオーブン焼き：400円
「創業間もないときのメニューです」が、「現在の第一線」でもある「ところにある種のすごみがあります。」(稲田俊輔『人気飲食チェーンの本当のスゴさがわかる本』)
素材の味付けのサイゼリヤにしては、塩味が結構強かったです。塩味のない部分もあり、バラツキが大きかったのでしょう。
・ミラノ風ドリア：300円
「これまでに1000回以上『アロマ(食前の香り)』『テイスト(味)』『フレーバー(食後の香り)』の改良を続けてきた」(正垣泰彦『サイゼリヤ おいしいから売れるのではない 売れているのがおいしい料理だ』)核商品です。
微調整が注文数の増減に影響し、「『おいしい』＝『客数』」という計測可能なデータに変換して、ビジネスとしての料理の味を考えているそうです。
業界は違いますが、この本はよく読みました。
・ハンバーグステーキ：400円
肉の味をしっかり嚙みしめられました。400円(!)です。
感想
突然大声を出すこともある8か月の娘と一緒に初めて外食したのですが、その声がかき消されるほど店内は賑やかでした。
問題なく外食できて良かったです。
満腹食べて1人1000円しません。すごいCP (Cost Performance)です。
