Personal review: Located in front of the west exit of Shinmaruko station, I made my first visit to this Japanese restaurant. They have a lot of lunch specialties, but I had to try the top picture which was the katsudon. For those who are hungry, they offer a large bowl of rice for free. Honestly, the katsu didn't have as much of an impact as another katsudon place in Shinmaruko, but the combination of the egg and katsu is still amazing. I'll keep trying the other dishes, but you can't go wrong with the katsudon!
【感想】新丸子駅(西口)の前にあるこちらの定食屋さんに初訪問させて頂きました。ランチにはいろいろ魅力的なセットがあるのですが、写真のトップにもあったかつ丼を選択させて頂きました。お腹が減っている人は大盛無料という嬉しいサービスがありました！某かつ丼屋と比べると肉汁のインパクトがちょっとかけてたけど、トロトロの卵とカツが最高でした！ほかにも魅力的なメニューがたくさんあったのでもう少し散策してみたいと思います！

Personal review: This popular Japanese diner is pushing for Indian style curry, but I was in the mood for some good old Japanese style pork cutlet curry today. The curry is pretty standard, but the cutlet was fantastic! The juicy cutlet mixed with curry is a mix of crunchy deliciousness. The curry volume felt a bit small and had to pace myself so not to end up with excess rice. The salad covering the rice also made it a bit difficult to gauge the status despite the colorful appeal. As a side note, they can make the rice extra large and the miso soup was pretty good.
【感想】新丸子駅前の人気定食屋ではインドカレーもかなり積極的に取り組んでいるのですが、今日は日本風カレーの気分なので久々にカツカレーを注文。カレーは結構普通の旨さなのですがやっぱりカツが最高です。ジューシーな豚肉だけでご飯が進むのですが、ちょっとルーが少なかったのかペース配分が難しかったです。サラダが同じ皿の上だとご飯との境界線が見え難いですね笑 ご飯の大盛も可との事ですが、ルーも併せて増やしてくれるのかな？？
味噌汁も普通に美味しかったです笑
