My family prefers Conveyor belt sushi, but lately we seem to be going to Kura Sushi more often. The biggest reason was that the rate of price increases was lower at Kura Sushi than at Sushiro, but now they're more satisfied? Thick, fatty marinated mackerel (115 yen) is not available at Sushiro and is a product unique to Kura Sushi that tastes great. Fried food are not served on a conveyor belt, and are served fresh after you order, which is a win-win. However, the prices Fried food have increased significantly without us noticing, and they're no longer the cheapest.
