[2 minutes from Kuji Station] Enjoy a wide variety of authentic Asian cuisine with great value lunches and courses that include all-you-can-drink♪
At BIJIYA, you can enjoy a wide variety of dishes, including authentic curry and fresh spring rolls. We especially recommend the 550 yen lunch, which includes curry, naan or rice, salad, and a drink! |
More than 10 years ago, it was Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Tsubohachi! The remnants of it can be seen in the brick-like tiles on the wall of restaurant (laughs). I noticed that there are three restaurants serving curry in the weir shopping street around Kuchi Station! Recently, Indian, Sri Lankan, and Nepalese curries have been gaining citizenship. Bija is an Asian curry shop with several branches along the Nambu Line. The menu is not limited to curry. I was craving something refreshing. The reasonable price helped me to choose a pho noodle set from the lunch menu. There were also a few single men on their days off. Do you need soup for pho? I guess I wouldn't complain even if I didn't... (laugh) The bowl of pho arrived with a heaping pile of pak choi! The aroma... Oh, it doesn't have a distinctive crunchy aroma? No. It's not crunchy! It's not Pakuchi! This bitterness, the shape of the leaves... Chrysanthemum! Three leaves! (Laughs) Since there are different likes and dislikes of pak choi, I guess it is easier for people to accept the more familiar ones such as garland chrysanthemum and mitsuba. However, the pakuchi is also served on a separate plate.
