Go to "Miraizaka" at the south exit of Mukogaoka Yuen Station. The property used to house ``Za Watami,'' and ``Miraizaka'' is also a new type of Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) from the Watami Group. In the past few years, Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) properties that used to be ``Watami,'' ``Watamin-ya,'' and ``Za-Watami'' have been renovated one after another and changed their signage to ``Miraizaka'' and ``Sandaime Torimero.'' Next to the store name is " As the catchphrase says, ``Tasty fried chicken and izakameshi,'' this restaurant is famous for its fried chicken. We use Seiryu Wakadori, a domestic chicken raised by contracted farmers in Iwate and Kochi prefectures. The globe-age, which is a whole chicken thigh that has been deep-fried, is entertaining as the staff brings it to the table and cuts it with scissors. The meat is juicy and the batter is crispy. At 999 yen excluding tax, it seems quite expensive for a chain Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) menu, but the taste is absolutely delicious. The spicy sauce of the drooling chicken has been carefully researched to give it an authentic taste that will make you feel chills. Caesar salad has been a standard menu item since the ``Za-Watami'' era. Watami Group's organic romaine lettuce is harvested at an organic farm in Tomi City, Nagano Prefecture, operated by Watami Farm, a subsidiary. It's fresh and in season in summer, so the leaves are thick and crunchy. Drinks include a highball for 199 yen and draft beer for Premol for 299 yen. During the "Za-Watami" era, a highball cost 390 yen and a pre-mol junior high school student cost 490 yen, so it's even cheaper. I guess they make a profit by charging a low price for each drink and asking for a lot of refills of dishes with strong flavors.
