●Saturday, September 5, 2020● "An'an" is likely to be used by people within car range. It's located above the drugstore, so it might be a good idea to shop for daily necessities on your way there and back. The inside of the restaurant is just a normal chain Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant. It's on the 2nd floor, so if you sit by the window, you might get a better view and feel more open. It's been a while since I've been to An'an since I was in my 20s, but I was surprised to see so much meat priced at 200 and 300 yen. After ordering the soft drink bar, I ordered An'an Kalbi (310 yen), Seasoned Cow tongue (420 yen), Young Harami (310 yen), Super Spicy Tontoro (310 yen), and Super Spicy Chicken Momo (200 yen). I ordered medium rice (200 yen). Kalbi is safe. It's not as good as Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurants in a slightly higher price range, but it's delicious and worth the price. Personally, I liked Cow tongue, but the portion was quite small, giving the impression that I was eating a piece of tongue sticking out. The girlfriend I went with looked dissatisfied (lol). On the other hand, her favorite skirt steak was thick and difficult to tear off, which left her personally dissatisfied. This is probably a matter of preference. Super spicy tontoro is stimulating, increases your appetite, and is satisfying to eat. Personally, it was the most delicious of the meats. The super spicy chicken thighs were spicier than the Tontoro, but they were an easy-to-eat size and weren't bad. However, the most delicious dish was the An'an Soup (470 yen). The menu works both as a palate cleanser and as a meal, so it might be a good idea to order at least one soup-based item. The bill was 3280 yen for two people. Even though it's non-alcoholic, Yakiniku (Grilled meat) is quite cheap at around 1,600 yen per person. It might come in handy on days when you don't have much money but want to eat Yakiniku (Grilled meat). [Score] ★★★★★★ 6/10
