開店とほぼ同時に入ったつもりでしたが、ドアを開けたらもう3組が座っていました。私たち3人が4組目。お客が一気に10人はいったので厨房も忙しそう。
日替わりコロッケ定食710円をひとつ、カツカレー950円をふたつ注文しました。
テーブルに届いたカツカレーを見るとものすごい量で、食の細い老母には食べきれそうもありません。慌ててお店の方に声をかけてライスを減らしてもらいました。忙しい厨房に余計な手間をかけさせてしまいました。ごめんなさい。
HAMAさんを訪問したのは5年ぶり。前回訪問の記憶が薄かったのですが、こんなに食事量の多い店だったんですねー。白飯だけでなくトンカツも巨大です。レゴで作ったトンカツですか？と思うくらい分厚い立派なものでした。
ポテトコロッケはデミグラス風ソースがかかっていて、ホンワカやさしい味。付け合わせのレタスも大盛でドレッシングもたっぷり。食後にお願いしたコーヒーも濃い目でおいしい。
印象に残ったのは、ホールスタッフさんの気遣いです。座席に座るなり小柄な母のために分厚い座布団を持ってきてくれたり、お願いごとに笑顔で対応してくれたり、食事内容もそうですが、いい気持ちで店を後にすることが出来ました。
