オダサガは不思議なエリアで妙に和菓子屋さんが多いと思います。
私が御幼少の頃から存在する御店も今でも御多く残っています。昔はそんな和菓子屋さんが御団子とか御稲荷も販売していて結構子供の頃は御世話に成った物です。
此方の御店は行幸道路からチョッと奥まっている脇道に有るので、オダサガ住人では無いと知らない方も多いのでは無いでしょうか？
御店の看板商品は相模の大凧祭りに由来した「大凧サブレー」なのですが、大凧祭りって座間市のイメージが（汗）まぁ殆ど座間市と相模原市の境目に御店は有りますが。。
その手の便乗商品はパスしたくなる私です。良く有る酒饅頭なんかでは無く、選んだのは「相模の芋まんじゅう」です。１個１５８円なり。
普通の御饅頭系とは違い蒸しケーキの仲間みたいな一品です。相模原産の大和芋を使い、その上部には沢山の密漬けされた金時芋が散りばめられてます。
大豆の甘さとは違う御芋の甘さが美味しいですよ。偶にはこんな素朴な和菓子も良いな～♪
