That's right, let's go to Lake Sagami.
Lake Sagami. To be honest, it's a rather low-key tourist spot, but once you get there you'll find it to be a nice, relaxing place. It's just one stop from the city center on the Chuo Line. If you walk down the hill from the station with a view of the lake, you will arrive at a nicely maintained park on the lakeside. At the back of the park there are a number of restaurants and amusement restaurant. Going for a walk or going on a boat ride will make you hungry. I searched around on impulse and found Cafeterias that looked like it had been in business for a long time. Or Ryokan? There seem to be some local specialties, but I'll go for curry rice here. A comforting and soothing curry rice. Leisurely eating curry in a place like this is truly a luxury. You can come by car, motorcycle, or train if you want. I'll come again. Thank you for the meal!

It took me a long time to finish writing this, so it's pretty out of season. I'm sure it's an autumn menu by now. I used to prioritize the nostalgia of tourist spots and eat curry. Now that spring has arrived, the sign reads, "Mountain Vegetable Tempura, Only Now." I guarantee you will be happy if you order this. I chose a delicious menu with tempura as the main Tempura, and then some Zaru Soba noodles. Slightly bitter mountain vegetable tempura has the aroma and taste of spring. When I asked, I found out that the owner had picked the wild vegetables from his own mountain. Apparently they only do this during the best season. Yes, this kind of menu is good. Authentic local menu items that you won't find in the highly efficient tourist destinations. They use local ingredients that grow in the fields and mountains of the area, without being swayed by local specialities. What a luxury! A luxury that isn't monetary. Mmm, I enjoyed it. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal!
