今日は神奈川県大和市にある中華店「龍苑」に訪問してみました。こちらは小田急江ノ島線の鶴間駅からイトーヨーカドーのすぐ近く。店頭には昔ながらのショーケースが設置されています。入店して適当な席に着くとお冷が出されました。卓上にあるメニューを拝見すると、定食類の方が麺類よりもリーズナブルな設定のようです。大抵、初めての中華店ではすぶたを注文するのですが、この日は「肉しょうが定食」900円をお願いしました。店内はカウンターはなくて全てテーブル席のみ。
しばらく待って料理が出されました。トレーに乗せられた料理は、メインの生姜焼き、ご飯、スープ、香の物の4品。メインは大きな皿に大量の豚肉が盛られていた。これはもはや中華料理ではないですね。付け合せには、カイワレ大根、レタス、トマト、キュウリ、千切りキャベツが付いていました。それにしても肉の量が多いです。食べても食べても中々減りません。ご飯は大盛り。スープはラーメンスープでネギが沢山入っていました。香の物はキュウリと高菜漬け。お肉は当然オンザライスにして頂きました。
