休日の夜に家の者と予約をして伺いました。場所は、海老名駅東口ロータリーを左側から進み、信号を渡らずに左に折れた正面。ビナウォーク2A呑み処ビナ横丁の2階です。近道は、相鉄線沿いの駐輪場経由になります。
外階段を上がり扉を開けると風除室。もう一つ扉を開けて店内に入ります。予約の旨伝えるとスムーズにカウンター席に案内されました。
こちらは海老名市に本社を置く株式会社ライブフードの合点グループのお店。何でも昨年業態変更をして、お店の冠には「すし 炉端焼 日本酒」とあります。
注文は、EBINAビールのヘーフェ ヴァイツェン890円とジャスミン茶390円。ビールは330mlの瓶で、味は軽くフルーティです。
お通し420円は、カツオの握り1貫。たまに、握りをお通しで出すお店にめぐり会います。寿司を主とするお店なのでお通しなのでしょう。酢飯は柔らかめで、もう少しキリっとしてほしい。また、一口なので物足りなさもあります。
アテは、炉端焼きから、皮付きヤングコーン399円、新玉ねぎ499円。そして、鮪のど肉のユッケ659円、らっきょう漬け459円。
この中では、新玉ねぎが素晴らしかった。塩が薄く振ってあるので、そのままの方が甘みが際立つ。一方、添えられたクルミ味噌は穏やかで、これも玉ねぎとの相性は抜群です。
鮪のど肉のユッケは、コリっとした部位。胡麻油ベースで薬味が効果的。
お酒が進みますよ、と言われて置かれたらっきょう漬けは優しい塩漬け。好みは甘酢漬けだが、辛みは抑えられていて良い箸休めになります。
この後は日本酒に変えましょう。150ml900円が基本。いただいたのは、嬉長と豊盃。150mlってあっと言う間ですね。
お勘定と言うと、味噌汁を持ってきてくれました。具は麩が1つだけですが嬉しい配慮。一昔前までは、いわゆるスナックと言われるお店でこのようなサービスがみられましたが。
ややスタッフの声出しが耳につきますが、料理は良く考えられています。あっと言う間に満席に。人気のあるのが分かります。
