We went to a Western-style Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in Ebina for a drinking party with friends. This Dining Bar has its main branch in Machida, and has been a popular establishment for quite some time. As soon as we took the elevator up to the third floor and opened the door, we were enveloped in a lively and energetic atmosphere. We were shown to our reserved table seat on a higher step and toasted with a draft beer for 638 yen. The colorful bagna cauda (appetizer) for 440 yen allowed us to enjoy the texture of fresh vegetables. The hotplate menu's Caesar salad in front of you for 858 yen was finished by a cheerful and energetic staff member who grated the Parmesan cheese. The rich cheese shipped directly from Italy and the homemade anchovy sauce blended together for an exquisite taste. After a second draft beer, we continued with a homemade red apple sangria for 638 yen. After snacking on the "Tuna and Avocado Rock Seaweed Dip" (550 yen) and "Smoky Potato Salad" (550 yen), it was finally time for the plate of "Spicy Chicken on the Bone" (748 yen). This is the most popular item at this restaurant, and I immediately bit into the large, piping hot thigh. The skin was crispy and the inside was extremely juicy. The spices were effective and I never got bored of the meal until the very end. I continued with the "Grapefruit Sangria" (638 yen), and finished off with a "Whitebait Peperoncino with Heaped Whitebait" (1,298 yen). The garlic had a pleasant aroma and I enjoyed the abundance of seasonal delicacies. As with the Machida main store, I was very satisfied with the cheerful and pleasant service, and I will definitely be returning.
