シゴトで本厚木まで来たので、ちょっと駅から離れますが、デカ盛り可能な蕎麦屋さんで早めの昼食をとることにします。
蒸気機関車とデカ盛りと道の駅を求めて毎週末、家族旅行しているのにキャンプ歴のない軽自動車キャンピングカー「eK-Camp(ＲＯＴＵＳ（ロータス）ＲＶ販売 )」銀色テントむし乗りのnorizoです。
小田急小田原線の本厚木（ほんあつぎ）駅南口を東に出て１００ｍほどで駅南口入口交差点から南の通りに入り４５０ｍほどで十字路から路地を東に進み２００ｍほどで交差する県道６０１号線酒井金田線を南に２５０ｍほど進むと西側に軒を構えるのが「あつぎ長寿庵」です。
駅からやや距離がありますが、駐車場があるのでクルマでの訪問も可能です。
到着したのは平日の１１時過ぎ、ランチタイムにはまだ早いのですが、すでに暖簾がかかっています。
店内には土間に４人掛けテーブルが６つ、小上がりに４人掛けが２卓あります。
今回は中央当たりの４人掛けをお借りしてメニューを眺めます。
昔ながらの蕎麦屋らしく、出前モードに対応したたくさんのメニューが心強いです。
「中盛り（１００円増し）」、「大盛り（１５０円増し）」、「超大盛り（２５０円増し）」のほかにセットメニューで「両方大盛り「２００円増し」とボリュームアップの指定が豊富なのもうれしいところです。
サイズダウンの場合には、価格が低減されるものもあります。
超大盛りを注文しようかどうか悩んだのですが、午後のシゴトもあるので控えめに「豚丼大盛り（税込８００＋１５０円）」をお願いすることにしました。
実は食べログのクーポンを見せると、「中盛か大盛」またはトッピングの１５０円までの天ぷら一品が無料になります。
そんなわけで、今回は大盛りなのに通常サイズ価格の８００円で楽しめてしまいます。
超大盛ではないのですが、それでもどんぶりからあふれ出るサイズです。
肉は柔らかく、下味がしっかりとついているので食べやすいです。
味付けはやや濃い目で、ガテン系の人でも美味しく食べられます。
ご飯自体も美味しいので、かなりのボリュームながらバクバク食べられます。
お蕎麦も美味しいらしいので、胃袋に余裕があるなら「セット」にするのも良いかもしれません。
セットメニューにしませんでしたが、定食系もダブルで大盛りにできることを考えると…その際にはホンキで挑む必要がありそうです。
超大盛の魅力に迷いつつ、コストパフォーマンスから大盛りを選びましたが、やっぱりチャレンジしてみたい！
そんな後悔を残してしまったため、再訪を誓いお礼を言ってみ会計を終え、店を後にしました。
