After finishing a meeting in the afternoon, I went to the inland housing complex to have lunch. The shutters of Ramen I was looking for were down, and even the motsuyaki restaurant and ramen shop further down were down. It seems that many stores are closed on Mondays. I pulled myself together and went to this curry shop next to Bento (boxed lunch). There were no customers in front of me, and two staff members were lined up, right in the middle of the store, and they were serving their meal. I almost burst out laughing, but I happily went in. I ordered the lunch curry set of cheese chicken curry, rice, and lassi. The set was served in about 3 minutes, and the cheese chicken curry was nicely cooked and soft, but the rice was surprisingly Thai rice (almost the same as Indian rice). It may be authentic, but the appearance and texture of the whitebait, which is like boiled whitebait, doesn't suit the Japanese palate. I should have just ordered naan. Thank you for the meal.
