箱根旅行、ホテルチェックイン前のランチに
「アルベルゴ・バンブー」さんへ。
後述しますが、とにかく素敵な洋館です。
バスが遅れに遅れてご迷惑をおかけしたのですが、お電話でのご対応、そしてお出迎え時のあたたかいお言葉が有難い。
ランチのパスタセット 3,850円
・本日のスープ、根セロリの冷製ポタージュ
・パン２種類（おかわりOK）
・オマール海老のトマトクリーム タリアテッレ (+1,760円)
・カフェと本日のドルチェ、塩アイスと自家製ティラミス
お料理は、どれも飛び抜けてはいないものの満足度が高かったです。根セロリの冷製ポタージュは初めて頂きましたが、ポタージュなのに爽やかさがあり、蒸し暑い日にピッタリでした。
さて、お料理ももちろん満足なのですが、素敵だなと思ったのが洋館自体の美しさと、サービスの方のおもてなし。
40年前、バブル期真っ盛りに建てられたという洋館ですが、完成まで10年（！）を要したそうです。
400年前のイタリアのシャンデリアや、同系色で描かれた壁画など、オーナー様のこだわりとセンスがつまっています。
バブル期に贅を尽くして建てられた建物って、その名の通りバブリーでちょっとやりすぎ、古臭いと感じることも少なくありませんが、当館は全くそんなことはありません。元々のセンスの良さもそうですが、日々きちんとメンテナンスされているからなのだろうなと感じ、スタッフの方々に頭が下がります。
また、素晴らしかったのは、サービスマンのおじさまで、お食事中の付かず離れずの心地よい接客に加え、今日はお客が少ないからと、食後館内を色々ご案内頂きました（我々が最後のランチ客でした）。また、カメラマン顔負けの腕前で私と友人の写真を何枚もすすんでとって頂きました。おかげさまで当館の美しさを体感させていただきましたし、思い出をきちんと写真に残すことができました。
公共交通機関で行くと少し不便ですが、他にはない豪奢な洋館で素晴らしい時間を過ごすことができます。
