● Public transportation From Hakone Tozan Railway's "Hakone Yumoto Station", take the Hakone Tozan Bus "To Togendai" for about 30 minutes, or from "Gora" take the Facility Tour Bus "To Sengoku Information Center" or "To Gotemba Premium Outlets" for about 18 minutes. Get off at the "Kawamukai / Little Prince Museum" bus stop. ● If coming by car From Tomei Expressway Gotemba IC for about 20 minutes, or from Hakone Yumoto Station, go up National Route 1. With Miyanoshita Fujiya Hotel on your left, follow the road to the right at Miyanoshita intersection. (Please note that Miyanoshita intersection has a flashing light.) Continue on National Route 138. After passing the Hakone Glass Forest Museum, turn left at the T-junction at Sengokuhara. Continue along the road and when you see a Lawson on your left, it is next to it. I visited after checking out of Tokyu Harvest Club Hakone Koshien. It's convenient because it's close by. The exterior is quite unique, but the interior is designed with European beach resorts in mind. It has the same atmosphere as Kowakien Yunessun, where I went the day before. It seems to be popular with families with small children and young couples. Although I was attracted to the hot soba because of the rain and cold weather, I ordered a large serving of cold soba because their specialty is wild yam. Wild yam is stickier and more flavorful than regular mountain yam. It's filling. The soba was beautifully presented and had no peculiar taste. The large serving was just the right amount for an elementary school-aged child. I felt that the soba soup was a little unsatisfying for me, who is used to Edomae in Asakusa and Kanda.
