湯河原駅から669mぐらいの場所にある、ラーメンやワンタンメンなどを提供するお店です。伊豆旅の帰り道、昼食をどこかで食べようとガイド本を見て知り、訪問しました。駐車場は店の左側の月極め駐車場の手前側にありました。
日曜の12時ちょっと前に2名で入ってみたところ、地元のグループさんの宴会の真っただ中。テーブル席は2組の宴会で、一般のお客さんはカウンター6席分ぐらいのなか、たまたま2席だけ空いていて着席できました。
ガイド本に載っていた「湯河原名物 坦々焼きそば」（900円）×2を注文。ついでに「焼き餃子」も1皿頼みました。
メニューを見ると、他には、醤油、塩、あごラーメン（各650円）やワンタンめん（850円）やサンマーめん（850円）、ミソ納豆ラーメン（850円）、オロチョンラーメン（850円）などもありました。オロチョンラーメンって初耳かも・・。
「湯河原名物 坦々焼きそば」は、ちょっとピリ辛なあんかけの具がのった細麺の堅焼きそばで、好みで辛い調味料を追加でつけて食べることも可能です。具は、玉ねぎ、もやし、人参、きぬさやなどの他に、大きな帆立、大きめな海老なども入っていました。
なかなか美味しい焼きそばで、満足でした。
伊豆からの帰り、熱海でランチも考えましたが、日曜日は午後の道路混雑が怖いから、早め早めの行動がいいかなと湯河原まできてのランチでしたが、ここまで来ていればあとは下道でのんびり帰っても当日中に帰れると思うと気も楽なのでした。
