The seared strawberries are also full of seasonings typical of Kochi. If it were true, I would be happier if it was Tosa Akaushi instead of Kuroge Wagyu beef, but considering stable supply and price, that's no longer an option. Uchiwa shrimp (a member of the cicada family that actually looks gross but is quite delicious) is a rare item that is hard to find even in Kochi city. The size and thickness of the raw wood shiitake mushrooms was a little disappointing, but I think this has something to do with the season. One of the great things about local restaurants around here is that they don't turn you away after 2 hours even if they're full. But on this day, the three of us are planning to stay at a hotel together with my mother. I left here, quickly stopped at Convenience stores, bought as much alcohol as I could, and the party continued forever.
