高知城を徘徊してもまだ時間があったおんな2人は、一時的に二手に別れて其々が適当に散策をしていた。
わたしはというと、待ち合わせ店周辺をウロウロ歩いてアレコレ眺める。
そうこうしていると時間がやってきて、18時半に店で合流し、彼女の到着を待ち侘びながら先に酒をする。
間も無く息を切らしながら現れた彼女との話もままならぬママ、女将(ママ)からの促しを受け慌ただしくオーダー。
急かされている訳ではなくてそんな気質というか「ツマミのオーダー無くては酒は進まないやね？」という心遣いかと思われる。なんとなくお世話好きな雰囲気のフレンドリーな女将であった、
メニューは品数多くて目が滑っちゃうけど、こちらへ来たら頼みたかった新子をしっかりオーダーできたのでホッとしてまた酒をする。
ちっちゃい鰹である高知県民が愛するソウダガツオの新子刺しとは、カツオらしいぱつんとした皮つきの、弾力ある食感が特徴な魚で魚らしい旨みも感じてとてもおいしい。
かんきつをたっぷり使っていただくのが土佐流。
ツマはこちらも食したかったりゅうきゅうを使用。独特のしゃりしゃりとした歯触りが特徴であるハスイモの茎部分。
それ自体には味の特徴はないけれど、食べてみたかったのでとても嬉しい。
