Want to eat delicious Sushi and pasta? Kochi's authentic Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) "Hosumi"
We will treat you to dishes made with an abundance of fresh ingredients from Tosa. The recommended Sushi rice dissolves just right in your mouth, and the slightly sweet red vinegar gives it a mellow a |
It's been a while since I've been to Kochi. I had some time, so I wandered around the nearby Hirome Market. There was a space where I could sit and eat, but I held back and went there with high spirits. I was the first customer today. They said they didn't have any good bonito, so I started with salted Ryoma yellowtail and beer. It was my first time to try salted yellowtail, but it was fatty and delicious. I've never eaten it before. I also tried fried moray eel. It was light but rich, unlike the moray eel on TV, hmm, is that the right way to describe it? But it was chewy and delicious! Before I knew it, the restaurant was full. I'm glad I made a reservation. Since I was there, I went to Kameizumi, which was recommended to me, after a dry Tosa sake, Funachu Hachisaku. This was my first time trying Kameizumi, but it was almost a fruity white wine. It was yellowish in color, and looked more like wine than sake. I was served a lot of sake kasu, dried mullet roe, and assorted sashimi. The service from the staff was particularly noteworthy. I enjoyed my meal alone until the end. I left the restaurant feeling good. If I have the opportunity, I would like to visit again and would like to recommend this restaurant. Thank you for your polite service and for the delicious meal.
