先月の高知旅行で寄った酒場。
中心部の繁華街の中にあり、はりまや橋からのアクセスが非常に良く、土佐の酒に特化している点が気になり入店。
店内は一面の酒瓶で全てが高知の酒と言うから驚く。メニューは特に比較して飲むタイプの日本酒飲み比べセットが目立ち、安いセットから大吟醸の飲み比べセットまで非常に数が多かった。
食事は逆にシンプルなお通しぐらいで、お酒全振りのイメージだが、このお通しも酒を邪魔しない絶妙な組み合わせで良い感じであった。
私は3種類飲み比べのセットを2パターン頼んだので、結果的に計6種類の日本酒を楽しむことができた。特に印象的だったのは南というお酒の純米大吟醸。白ワインにも通ずるフレッシュな果実味と米の甘さが絶妙であった。
店主さんはとても気さくで銘柄ごとの解説をしてくれた。また、東京から来たなら東京のお酒に興味もちなーとアドバイスを頂いて、なるほどその通りだと思った。日本に住んでいて日本酒を楽しめるわけだし、自分のところの地酒からだなと感じたところだ。
色々な点で楽しませてもらい、とても満足度の高いお店であった。高知にまた行くことがあったらまた行きたいなと感じる。
