熊本出身の友人がおすすめとのことで予約してくれた「桜庵」さん。あまりお店で馬肉をガッツリ食べたことはなかったので、ずっと楽しみにしていました。
二階の半個室のお座敷に通して頂きました。
足が悪い方には少しきついかもしれないけれど、プライベート感があり、デート等にはぴったりです。
コースで頂きました、最初から最後まで馬づくしかと思っていましたが、意外とそうではなかったです笑。
どの品も綺麗な盛付けで、見ても食べても楽しめました。
馬刺しはとっても綺麗でさすがです。一人前でもめちゃくちゃ量があって豪勢。たてがみ等脂多めの部位で結構おなかがきつかったので、もっと赤身を多くするか、枚数を減らすでも良いかも笑
コースの最後に出てきた馬しゃぶ。元々こちらを楽しみにしていたのですが、期待を上回る美味しいお鍋でした。
お肉は程よく脂がのっており、全く臭み等がない新鮮なもの。お野菜たっぷりでヘルシー。そして、ハラペーニョスープがめちゃくちゃ良い！
その名前から、辛そうなイメージですが、ピリッと風味が香るだけなので、辛いもの苦手な方でも問題ないと思います。このスープのおかげでさっぱりパクパク頂けます。おなかはいっぱいでしたが、美味しくてお肉追加しちゃいました。笑
熊本らしいコース料理で、思い出に残る素敵な時間を過ごすことができました。
