江戸時代この付近一帯は熊本の物流の拠点として栄えていたらしい。
川尻駅近くにある和菓子屋さん。
６軒の和菓子店が集まって和菓子と町おこしを結びつけた活動をしているそう。
お店横に駐車スペース１台分あり。
店内はごちゃごちゃと作品やら商品が並べられよく分からない空間。
飾ってある工芸菓子を見るとレベルの高さは十分覗える。
くまモンの和菓子に惹かれて６個入りの詰め合わせ（１２６０円）を購入。
味は基本的にどれも一緒で上品な餡とソフトな口あたり。
もうちょっと売り場を整理してディスプレイをきちんとすれば高級感もでて良さそう。
歴史を書いた案内文とかを入れればお土産とか贈答品としても売れそう。
他のお店もいつか訪れてみたい。
