午前中で、荷出しも無事終了し、熊本へ移動。
以前、数時間で終わるはずの引越しが大幅に延び、当日予約していた飛行機に危うく乗り損ねそうになったことがあり、
今回は、余裕を持ったスケジュールとした。
今朝（７日）は、昨日『トランドール大牟田』で買い置きしておいたパンで軽く済ませたので、昼前には空腹感がジワジワと全身を包み込む。
電車は上熊本駅で降り、路面電車で宿泊予定のホテルへ。
チェックイン時刻前だったので、荷物のみ預け、再び路面電車で、水前寺成趣園へ。
この辺りは、落ち着いた飲食店が何軒かあるらしい。
そんな中から、『泉里』という店に行ってみた。
選んだ理由は、私が「うなぎ」を、妻が「そば」を、それぞれが食べたいと思ったから。
この両方を満たすメニューがあるようなので。
読み方は”センリ”。
最初”イズミサト”と読んでしまい、妻に「相撲取り？」と言われる。
場所は、水前寺成趣園に隣接しており、同公園の中からも入店できる。
店の内外とも極めて閑静で、ちょっとした料亭の趣き。
どの部屋からも、公園を眺めることができ、素晴らしい佇まいである。
私たちが案内された部屋は、テーブルが置かれた和室。
落ち着いていてなかなか良い部屋だ。
少々のんびりしたくなった。
料理は、「そばとうなぎの組膳 ２，１００円」を注文した。
内容は、
「季節の先付け」・・・ イカ、茄子、かぼちゃの炊き合わせ
「丸茄子の味噌田楽」
「手打ち二八そば」
「うな丼」・・・小振り
「デザート」・・・白いんげん豆、白花豆、さくらんぼ
先付けは、薄味で、素材の旨みを感じられた。
茄子の田楽は、とろけるような茄子に、絶妙の甘辛具合に仕上げた味噌が美味。
そばは、その日の朝に、打ったものとのこと。
やや硬めの茹で加減で、ここは好き嫌いが出るかも。
うな丼のかば焼は、タレも香ばしく、こんがりと焼かれており、旨い。
デザートの白いんげん豆、白花豆は、口直しにちょうど良い甘さ。
概して、上品な料理と思う。
雰囲気・品数・味・値段の四拍子揃った素敵な店だった。
なお、公園外部から入店した場合、このお店に入園料を払えば、公園側へ直接出ることもできる。
