この近くで生まれ育った私は、毎日ここの店先を通っていた。
小学一年生の時、お使いを頼まれて握り寿司一人前を買いに行かされた。
店内は若い板前さん達が3～4人働いていて、職人の勇ましさに見とれていた記憶がある。
今は笑顔優しい二代目が、しっかり後を継ぎ美味い肴を提供してくれる。
昔ながらのスタイルでカウンターにバランを敷きそこに料理を提供してくれるのも
懐かしく、物珍しくていい。
雨が降る日の夕方などは、店先を市電が走り、カウンターから少しだけ見える景色と
市電と雨・・・ほろ酔いでしめサバをひとくち。
最高の肴なのである。
一人６０００円くらいと場所的に考えると安くはないのだが、
これは繁華街では決して味わうことのできない昭和に置き去りにされた呉服町の
老舗の特権なのだ。
